Structural Engineer Position Type: Full-Time Department: Structural Engineering Position Overview A respected structual engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced structural engineer to join theri team. This structural engineering company specializing in the analysis and design of superstructures throughout New York City and the surrounding metropolitan region. Our projects span residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, offering the opportunity to engage with complex, real-world engineering challenges in a demanding and fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of six (6) years in structural engineering, who demonstrate a strong command of engineering fundamentals and a high level of proficiency in structural design and analysis. Candidates must be fully fluent in structural design, analysis, and code application.. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of construction administration experience, including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings. Candidates should be able to handle a project from initiation through completion, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, design, and construction administration. Proficiency in ETABS and SAFE is required, along with full working knowledge of all applicable building codes. Candidates should have experience in the preparation of design documents, structural modeling, analysis, and calculation packages used in active projects. The role involves working closely with project teams, with an expectation of contributing meaningfully to project execution and delivery.
