Audit Manager / CPA Location: Upstate NY Salary: 150k+ DOE Full-Time | In-Office A growing accounting firm is seeking a professional CPA with strong experience in financial statement auditing and client accounting services. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage client relationships, oversee staff, advise clients, and also be deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting and compliance work. Responsibilities: Oversee and perform financial statement audits Manage client accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting Lead and support a department/team staff Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and compliance matters Review financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with setting up and maintaining accounting systems and ledgers Work directly with clients and provide professional guidance Ensure projects and deadlines are handled efficiently Requirements: CPA required 4+ years of auditing and accounting experience Strong financial statement audit experience Managerial or leadership experience preferred Professional English communication skills Hands-on mentality with strong attention to detail Ability to manage both staff and client relationships Strong growth potential for the right candidate.
