Bookkeeper and Admin Assistant
Overview
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the accounting, financial, and administrative operations of a growing real estate management and development company. This role will assist with accounts payable, reconciliations, bookkeeping support, reporting preparation, payroll coordination, vendor administration, and day-to-day office support.
The ideal candidate is dependable, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and strong organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
Process accounts payable and maintain vendor records
Record and allocate credit card transactions
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash tracking
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with bookkeeping and data entry functions
Prepare recurring financial and operational reports
Assist with reserve draw and lender documentation
Support CPA and audit requests as needed
Track invoices, due dates, and payment statuses
Administrative Support
Assist with day-to-day office administration
Maintain organized digital filing systems
Coordinate communication with vendors, utilities, and service providers
Support management with scheduling and operational tasks
Property Management Support
Assist with tenant ledger reviews and payment tracking
Support collections administration and documentation
Assist with utility tracking and account setup
Support recurring reporting requirements for ownership and management
Qualifications
2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Property management or real estate experience preferred
