Tech Lead – Full Stack & SaaS Platform (Python / React / FastAPI / AWS) Location: Eastern Time Zone | Hybrid Hours: Full-Time Compensation: $200,000–$235,000 Overview A management supports a network of eldercare and healthcare organizations, including Senior Planning Services, SCS Trusts, SubmitItOnline, and MedcheckUSA. We’re building cloud-native platforms—CRMs, B2B SaaS apps, and self-service tools—for Medicaid planning, trust management, and eldercare services at national scale. We seek a hands-on Tech Lead to architect and build scalable, data-intensive systems, leading development across Python (FastAPI), React.js, and AWS services. This is a role for someone who loves to both build and architect, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor a distributed team. Key Responsibilities Architect and build backend services (FastAPI, AWS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL) Develop and scale data pipelines and high-volume processing workflows Write infrastructure as code (Terraform) and manage CI/CD (GitHub Actions) Lead code reviews, enforce unit and E2E test coverage, mentor team members Ensure application and data-layer performance, reliability, and clarity Collaborate with DevOps on deployments, environments, and tooling Tech Stack Backend: Python, FastAPI, REST, async services Frontend: React.js Databases: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, SQS, IAM), Terraform, GitHub Actions Testing: Pytest, Postman, Cypress/Playwright CI/CD & DevOps: Docker, Git workflows, cloud-native CI Qualifications Required: 5+ years engineering experience, including 2+ as lead or architect Strong Python + FastAPI skills and AWS fluency Experience with large-scale data pipelines, ETL workflows, SQL & NoSQL Working knowledge of Terraform and production-grade CI/CD Clean code mindset, strong ownership, and passion for mentoring Preferred: Experience in healthcare, fintech, or regulated systems Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, secure-by-design practices Event-driven systems experience (SQS, Kinesis, Kafka) Building developer tooling or reusable libraries
