Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist Location: Newark, NJ Hours: Full time-In office Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 (based on experience) Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist with a proven track record of successful collections. This role requires strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable and collections for outstanding balances Follow up with clients via phone and email to ensure timely payment Post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular status updates Work closely with internal teams to reduce overdue balances Requirements Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Demonstrated ability to collect past-due accounts successfully Professional, persistent, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
