Auto Body Shop Manager Location: Brooklyn, NY 11204 Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM Salary: $150,000+ (based on experience) Overview We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager to oversee the full production and operations of a large-scale, high-volume auto body shop. This is a leadership role for someone who has successfully run an entire shop — managing workflow, staff, insurance claims, customer service, and overall profitability. Key Responsibilities Oversee full shop production from intake to vehicle delivery Manage and lead technicians, estimators, and shop staff Coordinate and monitor repair timelines and workflow efficiency Handle insurance claims and work directly with adjusters Review and approve estimates Manage parts ordering and inventory control Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally Ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction Maintain shop performance, productivity, and profitability Enforce safety standards and operational procedures Qualifications 6+ Years of Proven experience managing a large-scale auto body shop (100+ cars a month) A MUST Strong leadership and team management skills Extensive knowledge of insurance claims and estimating processes Experience handling parts procurement and vendor relationships Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills Ability to run full production operations independently Business-minded with strong organizational skills
