HR Specialist
Position Overview The Senior HR Operations Associate provides advanced HR support focused on compliance, process improvement, and complex employee lifecycle management. This role strengthens HR infrastructure, mitigates risk, and enhances scalability while mentoring junior HR staff. Healthcare or behavioral health experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Risk: Administer leave programs, manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, and ensure regulatory compliance. Benefits & Transitions: Resolve complex benefits issues, manage terminations and offboarding, and support retirement plan administration. Onboarding: Lead and improve onboarding programs, develop materials, and train HR team members. Employee Relations: Conduct exit interviews, support managers on HR matters, and identify employee experience improvements. Process Improvement: Maintain HR procedures, implement efficiency enhancements, support HR systems, and mentor HR staff. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of progressive HR operations or compliance experience Strong knowledge of leave administration, benefits, and HR laws Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred: Experience in healthcare or behavioral health industry
