Sales Manager
A wholesale distributor is seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead and support a team of sales representatives in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with strong experience in sales strategy, goal setting, and in-the-field coaching. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out with the team, building relationships, and driving performance. Responsibilities: Manage, coach, and develop a team of salespeople to achieve and exceed sales targets. Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for individuals and the team. Accompany sales reps on customer visits to provide support, guidance, and real-time feedback. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching. Collaborate with operations and purchasing to ensure alignment between sales and inventory. Help recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives. Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and assist with complex negotiations when needed. Qualifications: Sales experience. Proven experience managing or leading a sales team. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills. Willingness to travel with the sales team throughout the assigned territory. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Salary: $125K+++ Location: North Jersey
