Senior Executive Assistant
Chief of Staff Industry: Wholesale Distribution Location: Lakewood | Reports to: CEO | Compensation: $100k+ (DOE) Role Overview Own and execute the CEO’s priorities from idea to action. This role focuses on turning early-stage, unstructured initiatives into real progress—either by personally executing the work or coordinating others until it’s ready to be handed off. Key Responsibilities Drive execution of CEO priorities end-to-end Own initiatives that don’t yet belong to a department Turn early ideas into concrete outputs (research, analysis, plans, pilots) Track priorities, deadlines, ownership, and follow-through Push stalled or ambiguous work forward and unblock issues Decide when initiatives are ready to involve the broader team Reduce day-to-day noise so the CEO can focus on high-impact work Handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment What Success Looks Like CEO priorities move forward without reminders No important work stalls due to lack of ownership Ideas turn into action or are intentionally closed Increased CEO focus, clarity, and effectiveness First 90 Days Build a system to track CEO initiatives Take ownership of active priorities and execute Push multiple early-stage initiatives forward Reduce dropped balls and follow-up gaps Ideal Background & Traits Strong executor comfortable with ambiguity Excellent judgment and discretion Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Clear communicator who works cross-functionally Energized by ownership and accountability
