Field RN Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Field RN Supervisor to assume a vital leadership position focused on delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical services throughout the agency. This role is responsible for overseeing skilled nursing services in the field while providing direct training, supervision, and ongoing support to caregivers, nurses, and therapists. The Field RN Supervisor plays an active role in staff development through continued education, competency assessments, and compliance-related initiatives. Additionally, this position is accountable for planning, coordinating, delivering, and assessing nursing care for patients and their families, ensuring that all services adhere to professional standards, regulatory guidelines, and agency policies QUALIFICATIONS: Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, BSN, or MSN). Nursing experience, preferably in home care or a related field. 2 + years of management experience, prefrably in home care. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make independent decisions. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to manage schedules, maintain accurate records, and prepare clear, data-driven reports. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including DOH standards, accreditation guidelines, and homecare best practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Train and onboard all new RN staff and oversee their trial periods. Serve as a clinical and compliance resource for the Downstate (NYC) team. Assign cases and abstracts to the RN team. Conduct monthly internal audits to ensure regulatory and agency compliance. Partner with HR and Coordination teams to manage the training program. Conduct periodic performance evaluations for RN staff. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care. Provide patient and family education, guidance, and emotional support. Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and clinical records. Oversee updates to agency policies and ensure proper maintenance of the policy manual. Lead routine emergency preparedness drills and provide required training. Coordinate with departments to ensure adequate holiday coverage and scheduling. Review, monitor, and maintain records of all incidents; ensure timely incident reporting. Manage DOH complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution. Ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards. Update and deliver in-service training in response to new or revised policies. Review DAL communications and ensure appropriate actions are taken. Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical care strategies. Support the DPS during audits and regulatory reviews as needed. Assist the DPS with developing and implementing new workflows for US and DS operations. Salary: 130K Location: Brooklyn, NY
