Vice President of Business Development – SPS Community Solutions Compensation: $160K–$180K + commission DOE Location: New York (with occasional travel to Pennsylvania) A leading Medicaid services company is seeking a dynamic VP of Business Development to drive growth with home care agencies and health plans in New York and Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving healthcare environment, can build strategic partnerships, and has a proven track record of closing high-value deals. Responsibilities: Lead business development strategy to secure new partnerships with home care agencies, health plans, and healthcare organizations Expand the company’s presence in key markets, identifying untapped opportunities Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align BD activities with lead generation and revenue goals Act as a trusted advisor to existing clients to improve Medicaid enrollment efficiency and revenue Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team Track KPIs and report performance and progress to executives Ensure all business initiatives comply with Medicaid regulations and industry standards Requirements: 3+ years in business development, sales, or partnership management, including 2+ years in senior leadership Experience in Medicaid, home care, or health plan operations highly preferred Proven success in securing business, driving growth, and managing partnerships Strong negotiation and closing skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Familiarity with CRM and business development platforms Personal Attributes: Results-driven and highly motivated Competitive, resilient, and adaptable to fast-paced environments Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
