Assistant Sales Manager
A growing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to support sales operations across five locations and a team of approximately 10 sales representatives. This role will serve as a key liaison between the sales team, clients, and the company’s Sales Manager to ensure smooth communication, accurate reporting, and consistent performance. The Assistant Sales Manager will review quotes, analyze sales pipelines, and monitor team progress toward goals. Responsibilities: Oversee and support sales activity Review quotes, proposals, and ensure accuracy in pricing and follow-ups Analyze the sales pipeline and provide insights to the Sales Manager Serve as a liaison between sales representatives, management, and clients Monitor team performance and ensure goals align with company objectives Gather and interpret information from the sales team to improve outcomes Support and mentor sales representatives to ensure consistent sales practices Promote accountability and effective communication throughout the team Qualifications: Proven experience in sales management or sales operations (preferably in retail or service industries) Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal abilities Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management Self-motivated and able to manage multiple locations and priorities Background in flooring, home improvement, or related industry is a plus Salary: $150K Location: Linden, NJ
