A well-established Judaica store in Flatbush, serving our community with high-quality products and personalized custom items. We are seeking a detail-oriented, smart, and organized Sales Associate to manage our custom orders department, ensuring accuracy, quality, and excellent customer experience. Job Summary: The Sales Associate in the Custom Orders Department will oversee all aspects of personalized and custom items, from order intake to completion. The role requires someone who can multitask, manage details, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Handle all custom orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Communicate with customers to understand and confirm their custom requests Manage multiple orders simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met Oversee quality control and coordinate with any internal production processes Maintain organized records of orders, materials, and inventory Assist with customer service and in-store sales as needed Support daily operations of the store to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications: Experience in retail or a role involving detailed custom orders is preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage complex or personalized orders with attention to detail Reliable, professional, and able to work full store hours Comfortable using computers and POS systems Hours: Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (summer hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) One half-day off during the week
