An Insurance firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance quoting specialist to join their team. In this role, the candidate will evaluate insurance applications, assess risk, and determine policy terms to ensure the company maintains profitability while providing excellent service to clients. Responsibilities: Review and analyze insurance applications to assess risk and eligibility. Determine appropriate coverage terms, premiums, and policy conditions. Collaborate with brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information. Maintain accurate records and documentation for underwriting decisions. Monitor and review existing policies for renewals, adjustments, and compliance. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and risk assessment practices. Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters or team members, if applicable. Qualifications: Prior underwriting experience preferred (life, health, property, or casualty insurance). Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously. Proficiency with underwriting software and tools is a plus. Knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards. Salary: $120K Location: Brooklyn, NY
