Outside Sales Representative
A prominent company is looking to hire a dynamic and results-driven Outside Salesperson to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets in a designated territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the products and the ability to effectively communicate their value to potential customers. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Schedule and conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to present product offerings, provide quotes, and address any inquiries or concerns. Develop a deep understanding of our door products and services to effectively communicate their benefits and features to clients. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and performance. Work closely with the internal team, including marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and resolve any issues that may arise. Qualifications: Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the construction, building materials, or related industry. Experience with door products is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively. Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle objections and drive sales to completion. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships. Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets. Basic understanding of door products and installation processes. Technical knowledge is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
