Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Land Development Manager to lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of development projects on our vacant land holdings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, with expertise in assessing property potential, conducting market analysis, and overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for residential or commercial use while ensuring alignment with local market needs and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Evaluate vacant land properties to determine feasibility for development, including site assessments, zoning analysis, and environmental reviews. Identify and recommend optimal development strategies, such as residential housing, commercial spaces, or mixed-use projects, based on market demand and property characteristics. Conduct in-depth market research and area studies to understand demographic trends, economic factors, competitive landscape, and community needs. Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, timelines, permitting, and coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities. Oversee the full development lifecycle from initial planning and design through construction, execution, and project handover. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, marketing) and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities to inform future land acquisition and development strategies. Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management and stakeholders on project progress and recommendations. Qualifications Vast experience in Real Estate, Urban Planning, and Business Administration. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in land development, with a proven track record of managing projects from vacant land evaluation through to successful execution. Strong knowledge of real estate market analysis, including demographic and economic forecasting. Experience in both residential and commercial development, with familiarity in site selection, entitlement processes, and construction management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations. Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders, government officials, and vendors. Ability to travel to various property sites as needed.
