Chief Operations Officer
Our client, a company, who support contractors and developers by providing reliable, safe, and compliant electrical infrastructure throughout the full project lifecycle, is seeking a strong operational leader to oversee all day-to-day functions and drive companywide execution. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring seamless execution from project initiation to completion. This role manages the department responsible on new client onboarding, project management, field operations, HR, estimating, purchasing, logistics, and overall workflow. The COO will build systems, strengthen processes, and lead the company’s operational teams to ensure efficiency, quality, and growth. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong experience in construction operations, electrical services, or related trades. Responsibilities: Work closely with the CEO on business strategy and company goals Implement operational KPIs and performance metrics Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices Oversee all day-to-day operations across the company Develop and improve operational systems, workflows, and processes Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Lead cross-departmental coordination to streamline communication and execution Manage all new client onboarding and project startup processes Oversee scheduling, job planning, and resource allocation Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues Serve as an escalation point for complex project or client needs Directly oversee HR, Estimating, Purchasing, Operations, and Logistics Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management for all teams Review and approve project estimates, proposals, and contracts Supervise purchasing to ensure accurate, cost-effective material procurement Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in operations leadership (electrical, construction is a plus) Strong understanding of project management and operations Experience overseeing HR, estimating, purchasing, and field operations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to build systems, streamline operations, and lead teams through growth Strong business acumen Location: Brooklyn NY Salary: $175K + Profit Sharing
