Client Intake & Due Diligence Specialist
Our client, a receivables purchasing company seeking a detail-oriented Client Intake & Due Diligence Specialist to manage the onboarding of new clients. This role is responsible for collecting, verifying, documenting, and organizing all required client information to ensure each transaction is compliant, accurate, and properly vetted before approval. The ideal candidate is highly organized, investigative, and comfortable working with documentation, ownership structures, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for new client onboarding Collect all required client information and documentation Guide clients through the intake process and explain documentation requirements Ensure all intake materials are complete, accurate, and submitted on time Conduct due diligence to confirm the legitimacy of client businesses Verify business entities, ownership structure, and operating status Identify partners, shareholders, or members and obtain supporting documentation Collect and review partnership agreements, operating agreements, and corporate records Flag inconsistencies, missing information, or potential risks for review Organize and maintain complete digital and physical client files Ensure all documents are properly labeled, filed, and easily retrievable Maintain accurate records in internal systems and databases Ensure documentation meets internal compliance and audit standards Assist in identifying compliance or risk concerns during the onboarding process Escalate issues or red flags to management as appropriate Support internal reviews by providing complete and well-organized client files Qualifications: Experience in factoring, receivables purchasing, finance, or lending Experience in client onboarding, intake, due diligence, or compliance Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to assess business legitimacy and ownership structures Excellent organizational and follow-through skills Professional communication skills, written and verbal Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information Familiarity with business entity types, LLCs, corporations, and partnerships Experience working with document management or CRM systems Highly organized and process-driven Detail-oriented with a strong compliance mindset Proactive and methodical problem solver Comfortable working independently and managing multiple files Trustworthy, discreet, and professional Location: New York, NY Salary: $100K
