Construction Site Manager
Our client, a construction company is looking for a NYC based construction site manager. The Construction Site Manager will oversee and coordinate all activities related to active construction projects from the office. This role focuses on administrative management, project organization, scheduling, compliance, communication with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day project operations from the office. Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and task lists. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely progress. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delays or resource issues. Oversee all project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and reports. Ensure all documentation is organized, up to date, and compliant with company standards. Track budgets, expenditures, and purchase orders. Serve as the primary office-based point of contact for all project stakeholders. Provide regular updates to management and contractors on project status. Maintain detailed communication logs and meeting summaries. Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Identify potential risks and recommend preventive actions. Support implementation of safety procedures by coordinating with field teams. Prepare project reports, summaries, and dashboards. Manage scheduling for subcontractors and deliveries. Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, RFI tracking, and workflow coordination. Qualifications: Experience in NYC construction management, coordination, or project administration. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and documentation. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with multiple concurrent construction projects. Ability to read and interpret plans and architectural drawings. Familiarity with budgeting and cost-tracking procedures. Collaboration with remote and on-site project teams Location: Brooklyn NY Salary: $130K
