Our client, a leading flexible poly packaging manufacturing company is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Director with extensive experience in overseeing the production processes and managing teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations within the manufacturing plant, overseeing team performance, optimizing production processes, and ensuring adherence to quality control standards. Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure a cohesive and efficient workforce. Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products while maximizing resource utilization. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Implement quality control measures to uphold product quality standards and meet customer expectations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in a flexible poly manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage production processes and resolve issues as they arise. Proficiency in production scheduling software and other relevant tools. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices. Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
