Director of Operations – SCS Pooled Trust Location: Lakewood, NJ (In-Office) Reports To: COO Compensation: $125,000–$180,000 Overview We are seeking a senior operations leader to oversee our multi-state pooled trust program serving Medicaid recipients. This role manages the full trust lifecycle — intake, enrollment, case management, financial administration, compliance, and reporting — with significant operational and financial responsibility. About the Program SCS Pooled Trust helps Medicaid recipients who exceed income limits maintain coverage by contributing excess income into a pooled trust used for approved expenses. We provide full A–Z trust administration and support. Key Responsibilities Lead Intake, Enrollment, and Case Management teams Build and scale efficient multi-state operations Establish KPIs and improve processes through automation Oversee trust accounts, disbursements, reconciliations, and cash flow Maintain strong financial controls and audit readiness Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and HIPAA Optimize systems, reporting, and data integrity Build team structure, accountability, and succession planning Qualifications Required: 7+ years in operations leadership (financial services, healthcare, trust management, or regulated industries) Strong financial and analytical skills Multi-state operational experience Process-building and systems mindset Preferred: Medicaid, public benefits, pooled trust, or healthcare compliance experience Trust administration or fiduciary background Knowledge of HIPAA Ideal Candidate Highly intelligent, structured, tech-savvy, and decisive. Comfortable managing complex financial workflows in a sensitive medical-regulatory environment. Strong leadership presence with attention to detail and accountability.
