Position Overview
The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our clinical programs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. This role requires a strong background in BCBA supervision and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and direction to a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other clinical staff
Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients
Conduct regular clinical supervision meetings with BCBAs and other clinical staff
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and make necessary adjustments
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of therapy
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of clinical services with administrative and operational functions
Participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of clinical staff
Stay current with the latest research and advancements in ABA therapy and incorporate them into clinical practices
Manage clinical budgets and resources effectively
Represent the organization at professional conferences, workshops, and community events
Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the clinical department and the organization as a whole
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D)
3-10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role, with a strong background in BCBA supervision
Extensive knowledge of ABA principles, methodologies, and best practices
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of clinical professionals
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software
Experience in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA therapy
Exceptional problem-solving and decision- making skills
Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to lead and motivate a team
