A growing healthcare finance organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Cash Management Manager with a strong background in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing accounts payable operations across multiple facilities while managing cash flow, payment strategy, and liquidity planning. The position supervises a team of AP Leads, drives process improvements, ensures compliance, and safeguards against fraud. Responsibilities Include: Leading, mentoring, and managing AP Leads handling payables for multiple SNF and ALF facilities Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, approvals, and payments Overseeing end-to-end AP functions including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations Establishing and enforcing AP policies, procedures, and internal controls Managing daily and weekly cash requirements related to AP Developing and monitoring payment schedules to optimize cash flow and working capital Partnering with finance leadership on cash forecasting and liquidity planning Balancing operational needs with strategic cash preservation Implementing and monitoring controls to mitigate fraud risk Ensuring compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards Evaluating and enhancing AP and cash management workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy Leveraging accounting systems and automation tools to streamline processes Maintaining strong vendor relationships Resolving payment issues, discrepancies, and escalations efficiently Preparing AP aging reports, cash requirement schedules, and KPIs for senior management Ideal Qualifications: 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) experience required Strong knowledge of AP operations, internal controls, fraud prevention, and cash management Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment Salary : $150k - $200k/Year + DOE To apply, please send your resume to Chaya@bhirednyc.com
