A real estate company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in New York real estate. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing both the day-to-day financial operations and a mostly remote accounting team. Responsibilities: Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Manage and lead a team of accountants (majority remote), providing guidance and oversight Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal controls Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership on strategic financial planning Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications: Proven experience as a Controller or similar role within NY real estate Strong understanding of real estate accounting, reporting, and compliance Team management experience, including remote staff oversight Advanced knowledge of accounting software and reporting tools Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Salary: $130k - $200k/Year To apply, please send your resume to Mendy@bhirednyc.com
