Intake Manager Long Island / NYC (Hybrid or Remote Flexibility) $70,000 – $100,000 DOE Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Intake Manager to lead and optimize the intake function for a growing home care agency. This role requires home care industry experience, experience overseeing staff, and strong time management and operational decision-making skills. The Intake Manager will own the referral-to-start-of-care process, improve conversion rates, reduce lost cases, and ensure no referral falls through the cracks in a highly competitive market. The Ideal Candidate: * 3+ years experience in home care (LHCSA, MLTC, Medicaid-based services) * Prior experience managing staff * Strong understanding of Medicaid and MLTC processes * Ability to manage high-volume referrals with urgency * Strong communication and decision-making skills * Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage a team of intake coordinators * Ensure alignment between intake, marketing, and operations * Own the full referral-to-start-of-care workflow * Ensure same-hour response to new referrals when possible * Evaluate Medicaid eligibility and MLTC alignment * Identify creative solutions for difficult or complex referrals * Reduce loss factor and improve conversion rates * Track and report on intake KPIs * Identify workflow gaps and implement process improvements * Collaborate with marketers to maximize lead ROI If you have home care intake leadership experience and are ready to build and optimize a growing department, we would love to speak with you.
