About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and build the company’s sales function. This role is focused on leading the existing sales team, hiring and developing new sales talent, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, preferably within flexible packaging or a related manufacturing industry, and the ability to operate in a complex, product-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of salespeople to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build and expand the sales team by identifying, hiring, and developing top sales talent.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive market expansion and increase profitability.
Set clear sales goals, track performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and long-term growth.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay competitive.
Oversee and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales objectives with overall business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
Leadership Experience – Proven success in managing and motivating a high-performing sales team.
Sales Expertise – Strong ability to drive revenue growth and close deals.
Strategic Thinking – Ability to develop and execute successful sales plans.
Packaging industry experience preferred , but exceptional candidates from similar industries will be considered.
