Chief of Staff
Chief of Staff
Newark, NJ (Onsite – Full Time)
$100,000–$130,000
Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Chief of Staff to partner directly with a senior executive at a large, fast-growing company within the manufacturing and builder trade products industry.
This is not a traditional administrative role. This is a strategic execution position designed for someone who can bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to a complex, high-volume organization.
You will serve as the executive’s right hand — ensuring priorities are aligned, initiatives are executed, communication flows clearly, and nothing critical falls through the cracks.
This is an opportunity to join a strong, execution-focused environment with real scale, real growth, and real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Alignment
• Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership
• Manage high-level calendars, priorities, and strategic scheduling
• Prepare executive briefings, meeting materials, and decision summaries
• Act as a strategic filter for incoming requests and internal escalations
• Ensure leadership time is focused on highest-impact initiatives
Strategic Execution & Accountability
• Track key initiatives across departments including operations, production, supply chain, sales, and finance
• Translate executive direction into structured action plans
• Drive follow-up, ownership, and accountability on major projects
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively escalate or resolve issues
• Ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned on priorities
Operational & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate complex, multi-department projects from kickoff to completion
• Support leadership in implementing systems, processes, and reporting rhythms
• Help standardize communication between departments
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and performance summaries
• Maintain visibility into operational metrics and progress
Communication & Leadership Support
• Serve as liaison between leadership and internal teams
• Ensure clear communication of decisions, expectations, and deadlines
• Support town halls, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions
• Uphold discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
Qualifications
• 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, Executive Operations, Strategic Project Management, or senior Executive Assistant role
• Experience supporting senior leadership in manufacturing, construction, builder products, or product-driven environments strongly preferred
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through ability
• High-level communication skills — written and verbal
• Strong judgment and discretion
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing detail
What Success Looks Like
• Leadership priorities are clearly tracked and executed
• Cross-functional teams are aligned and accountable
• Projects move faster with fewer communication breakdowns
• The executive gains time and clarity to focus on strategic growth
• Operational visibility and discipline increase across departments
Who This Role Is For
• A structured operator who thrives behind the scenes
• Someone who enjoys driving execution, not just planning
• A proactive thinker who solves problems before they escalate
• A professional who can operate with confidence and discretion
• Someone who wants to grow within a strong, performance-driven organization
If you are a sharp, execution-focused professional ready to operate at the center of a growing manufacturing organization — we’d love to speak with you.
