Full-Time | In-Office ? $110,000–$150,000 DOE A well-established accounting firm in Boro Park specializing in nonprofit organizations is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong accounting knowledge who can manage financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions for nonprofit clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements and reports for nonprofit organizations Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations Work closely with clients to support their financial and operational needs Assist with audit preparation and documentation Qualifications Strong accounting experience required (mid–senior level; junior candidates not suitable) CPA not a must but a plus Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a strong plus Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client accounts Strong communication and client service skills
