Job Title: Neurologist (In-Office) Location: Bronx, New York Position Overview A growing medical practice in the Bronx is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist to join its team. This is a primarily outpatient, clinic-based role focused on diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, managing patient care, and performing EMG studies. The practice offers strong clinical support, a stable schedule, and competitive compensation. New graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates with EMG fellowship training are preferred. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $300,000 Performance Incentive Potential: Up to approximately $340,000 total compensation Initial Employment Structure: First 3 months as a 1099 contractor, transitioning to employed status Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid for the physician 50% employer contribution for family coverage Retirement: Pension/retirement plan available after 1 year of employment Malpractice Insurance: Covered by the practice Paid Time Off: 1 week PTO 2 weeks vacation 5 days CME Work Schedule Clinic Hours: Typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Location: Bronx, NY Patients Per Day: Approximately 20 patients per day Practice Type: Outpatient clinic setting Call Schedule 1 weekend per month (phone coverage only) 1 weekday per week call coverage No additional compensation for call Clinical Responsibilities The Neurologist will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care, including: Evaluating and diagnosing neurological disorders Developing and managing patient treatment plans Conducting neurological examinations and assessments Managing chronic neurological conditions Performing and interpreting Electromyography (EMG) studies (approximately 3–4 per day) Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and lab work Collaborating with primary care physicians and specialists for coordinated patient care Maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR system Providing patient education regarding neurological conditions and treatments Practice Support Physician Assistant (PA) support available Administrative and clinical staff assist with patient flow EMR: Medgen (subject to change) Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology EMG fellowship training preferred Ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions Strong communication and patient care skills New graduates are encouraged to apply Job Title: Neurologist (In-Office) Location: Bronx, New York Position Overview A growing medical practice in the Bronx is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist to join its team.
