Full Charge Bookkeeper
Our client, a financial service based company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing the full accounting cycle, and ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, and capable of working independently while partnering closely with leadership and external accountants. Responsibilities: Maintain and manage the general ledger Record and reconcile all financial transactions Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable Process invoices, payments, and expense reports Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Process payroll accurately and on time Work with external payroll providers as needed Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Generate P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Provide accurate financial data for decision-making Maintain organized and accurate financial records Identify and implement improvements to bookkeeping and accounting processes Maintain accounting procedures and documentation Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping principles Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and professionalism Key Skills: General ledger management Accounts payable and receivable Payroll processing Bank and account reconciliations Financial reporting Process organization and documentation Confidentiality and integrity Location: Brooklyn NY Salary: $100K
