Settlements Coordinator
The Escrow Officer performs tasks surrounding the funding and disbursing of monies received
for closings. The officer is the final checkpoint before closing, ensuring every funding is smooth,
compliant, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare settlement statements and ensure all financials are balanced
• Monitor and maintain email communication with buyers, sellers, attorneys, lenders, and
agents to finalize details
• Verify clients wiring instructions
• Set up wires in the bank for disbursement per verified wiring instructions
• Maintain accurate disbursement information in every file being disbursed
• Ensure that all disbursements made at closing match the prepared settlement
statements
Requirements:
• Prior experience in title, escrow, or real estate closings preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Comfortable with deadlines, compliance, and high-stakes transactions
