Director of Field Operations (Property Management) Williamsburg, Brooklyn | Hybrid (Field + Office) $200,000 – $250,000 DOE Company & Role Overview A vertically integrated ownership and property management company overseeing approximately 1,500 Class A residential units across Brooklyn. We are seeking a senior leader to oversee maintenance, property operations, and overall building performance across the portfolio. This role is highly execution-focused—managing property managers, superintendents, and maintenance leadership while ensuring strong field operations, responsiveness, and service levels across all assets. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has run field operations at scale , drives accountability, and operates with a strong service mindset. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Own day-to-day operations across all buildings, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and accountability Act as the senior escalation point for tenant issues, maintenance concerns, and operational challenges Drive strong service levels across the portfolio Team Management & Development Lead and manage property managers, supers, and maintenance leadership Set clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability frameworks Build and strengthen the leadership bench across the portfolio Maintenance & Field Oversight Oversee all maintenance operations including preventative maintenance, repairs, and building systems Ensure timely response and high-quality execution across all buildings Ideal Candidate Background as a Regional Manager, Director of Operations, or similar leadership role Strong experience running field operations across multiple sites Proven ability to manage managers and hold teams accountable Hands-on, execution-driven, and highly organized Customer-service driven , with a strong focus on responsiveness and tenant satisfaction Qualifications (Must-Haves) 5+ years of leadership experience in property management, maintenance, or field operations Experience managing large, multi-site portfolios Proven track record of improving operations and responsiveness (Strong knowledge of maintenance operations) Why Apply Lead operations across a large, Brooklyn-based portfolio Direct exposure to ownership and decision-making Opportunity to build structure and elevate operations across the platform Strong compensation with long-term growth potential email resumes to yanky@maiplacement.com
