Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time to Full-Time Growth) Location: Monsey, New York Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing mental health practice in Monsey. This role is ideal for a provider with psychiatric training and experience who is interested in innovative treatment modalities, including IV ketamine infusions and Spravato (esketamine) therapy. The position will begin as a part-time role (1 day per week) with the opportunity to expand into a full-time schedule as patient demand increases. This is a unique growth opportunity with potential to scale services and help build a larger clinical team. Compensation $80–$110 per hour (based on experience) Transition to full-time employment with expanded benefits as schedule increases Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Administer and monitor IV ketamine infusion therapy Administer and oversee Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray treatments in accordance with REMS protocols Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans as needed Provide medication management and follow-up care Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and clinical guidelines for ketamine and Spravato treatments Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, expectations, and potential side effects Assist in scaling clinical operations as patient volume grows Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York Psychiatric certification (PMHNP) preferred Prior experience in psychiatry or mental health preferred Interest or willingness to be trained in ketamine infusion therapy and Spravato protocols Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Schedule & Growth Opportunity Start with 1 day per week Opportunity to increase days as patient volume grows Potential to transition into a full-time role Opportunity to play a key role in expanding services and onboarding additional practitioners
