Chief Information Officer (CIO) Hours: Full-Time | In-Office Location: Central NJ Salary: 150k-250k DOE We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and scale the company’s technology infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands both IT systems and real-world operations on the manufacturing floor. Overview The CIO will take ownership of the company’s entire technology ecosystem—aligning IT with manufacturing operations, production workflows, and business goals. This person will bring structure, improve system integration, and introduce forward-thinking solutions to help the company operate more efficiently and scale. Key Responsibilities Lead all IT operations, including internal teams (7–8 staff) and external vendors Align technology with manufacturing processes, production, and supply chain operations Evaluate and improve how systems, software, and departments integrate and communicate Implement and optimize ERP/MRP systems and shop floor technologies Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and improve output Introduce automation, AI, and new technologies where they add real operational value Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and security across the organization Oversee vendor relationships, infrastructure, and system performance Act as the bridge between operations, leadership, and IT Qualifications Proven experience as a CIO, VP of IT, or senior IT leader within a manufacturing company A MUST Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and supply chain systems A MUST Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and system integrations Experience managing internal IT teams and external providers Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving skills Forward-thinking mindset with exposure to automation, AI, and process improvement Ideal Candidate Someone who understands both technology and manufacturing operations A leader who can step in, assess, and build structure across systems and teams Focused on efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement This is a high-impact role for someone who can connect technology with real operational results and help drive the company forward.
