Director of Recruitment & HR
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Recruitment & Human Resources to lead hiring, HR operations, compliance, and workforce development.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles
Develop staffing strategies to support growth and compliance
Manage recruitment pipelines and sourcing strategies
Create job descriptions aligned with healthcare regulations
Implement screening processes, interviews, and hiring workflows
Oversee background checks and reference verification
Monitor recruitment metrics and performance
Oversee HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws
Maintain employee handbook and HR documentation
Manage employee relations and performance management
Oversee onboarding, training, and credential tracking
Develop workforce training and retention initiatives
Oversee payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and healthcare regulations
Conduct HR audits and develop policies and SOPs
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
5+ years of HR leadership experience
3+ years of healthcare recruitment experience
Strong knowledge of New York State labor laws
Experience with payroll and benefits administration
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment
