Our client, a distribution and ecommerce company, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with expertise in financial reporting, data accuracy, and supporting executive-level finance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the CFO with insightful reporting, and ensuring timely and precise financial data that supports strategic decision-making and business performance. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to support the CFO in monitoring business performance and making informed decisions Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and reported Generate regular reporting packages, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet summaries Identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies in a timely manner Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and reports Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between financial data and operational activities Qualifications: 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within a distribution or ecommerce environment Strong understanding of financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems with reporting capabilities Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and report generation High attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to leadership Ability to work closely with a CFO or senior leadership team, providing reliable financial insights and support Location: Bayonne, NJ Salary: $80K
