Office Administrator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator who will handle day-to-day office operations while providing basic bookkeeping support. This role is essential to keeping the office organized, finances accurate, and administrative processes running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities. Responsibilities: Manage general office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle routine correspondence Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems Assist management with general administrative tasks as needed Maintain office policies, procedures, and documentation Coordinate onboarding paperwork for new hires Record and track daily financial transactions Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare invoices and track payments Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain organized financial records for management and accountants Assist with payroll preparation by gathering required information Oversee company insurance policies, including renewals and certificates Communicate with insurance brokers and carriers as needed Track compliance documents, licenses, and expirations Assist with claims documentation and reporting Qualifications Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role Basic bookkeeping experience required Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Strong communication and interpersonal skills Location: Brooklyn NY Salary: $80K
