Our client, a leading distribution company is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead their operations and drive scalable growth. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across all distribution channels. This executive will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision, optimizing supply chain performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Direct and manage all operational aspects of the company, including company technology, marketing, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, procurement, sales and customer service and more. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with growth objectives. Performance Optimization: Establish KPIs and operational benchmarks to monitor performance, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of products. Technology Integration: Lead initiatives to modernize operations through automation, ERP systems, and data analytics. Team Development: Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to support operational goals. Qualifications: Proven experience (10+ years) in senior operations leadership roles within distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments. Demonstrated success in scaling operations, managing complex logistics networks, and driving operational efficiencies. Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and P&L responsibilities. Expertise in supply chain technologies, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
