Clinical Director – Substance Use & Mental Health Program Hilliard, OH (On-Site, Full-Time) $90,000 – $115,000 (DOE) Position Overview We are seeking a strong, hands-on Clinical Director to lead a substance use and mental health program in Hilliard, Ohio. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical services, ensuring compliance, and building a structured, high-performing treatment environment. This is a leadership role for someone who can balance clinical excellence with operational discipline. The right candidate will support and develop clinicians, maintain regulatory standards, and implement systems that improve outcomes, accountability, and overall program performance. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight across substance use and mental health services Supervise, mentor, and develop clinical staff (therapists, counselors, and support team) Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards Oversee documentation quality, treatment planning, and clinical best practices Implement and maintain structured clinical processes and accountability systems Partner with executive leadership on program growth, performance, and strategy Monitor KPIs including census, outcomes, engagement, and staff productivity Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of clinical team members Address clinical escalations and ensure high-quality patient care delivery Requirements Licensed clinician required (LISW) 5+ years of experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical setting Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards Experience with documentation, audits, and quality assurance processes Ability to manage both clinical and operational responsibilities Ideal Candidate Strong leader who can build structure and hold teams accountable Balanced approach: supportive with staff but clear on expectations Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Focused on outcomes, performance, and continuous improvement Strong communication skills with both staff and executive leadership Email resumes to: ahuva@maiplacement.com
