Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper – Insurance Firm Location: Brooklyn NY--Full-Time, On-Site Salary: $75,000+ DOE We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established insurance firm in a full-time, in-house role. This position requires a strong, hands-on bookkeeping background with the ability to work independently from day one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations within the company. You will receive training on internal systems and company-specific processes, but prior bookkeeping experience is required—no general training will be provided. Requirements: Strong, proven bookkeeping experience (must be hands-on and current) Experience in insurance industry bookkeeping strongly preferred Life insurance bookkeeping experience is a major plus High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment Strong organizational and accounting fundamentals This is a great opportunity to join a stable insurance firm and take ownership of core bookkeeping functions in a professional in-office environment.
