AI Automation & Process Optimization Specialist
We are a growing medical billing company seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Automation & Process Optimization Specialist to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and modernize our workflows through the use of artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
In this role, you will analyze current billing processes, identify inefficiencies, and design intelligent solutions that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and accelerate revenue cycle performance. You will play a critical role in transforming traditional medical billing operations into a scalable, tech-enabled system.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing medical billing workflows, including claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and reporting
Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven tools, automation, and process improvements
Design and deploy automation solutions using AI, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and workflow tools
Collaborate with billing, coding, and operations teams to understand pain points and translate them into technical solutions
Integrate AI tools with existing billing software and EHR/EMR systems
Develop dashboards and reporting systems to track KPIs, productivity, and financial performance
Continuously monitor system performance and optimize processes for accuracy and efficiency
Train staff on new tools and workflows to ensure smooth adoption
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in process automation, AI implementation, or healthcare technology
Strong understanding of medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM)
Experience with AI tools, machine learning platforms, or automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Zapier, Python-based solutions)
Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and billing software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a medical billing company or healthcare environment
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance workflows
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) or document automation
Salary: $100k - $125k
