Core Responsibilities
Patient Communication and Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and empathy
Conduct initial patient consultations to understand their healthcare needs, concerns, and expectations
Explain medical procedures, treatment plans, and facility policies in clear, accessible language that patients can easily understand
Maintain regular follow-up communication with patients before and after appointments to ensure continuity of care
Develop and implement patient communication strategies that enhance engagement and satisfaction
Relationship Building and Patient Advocacy
Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families through consistent, compassionate communication
Act as a patient advocate within the organization, ensuring patient voices are heard and their needs are prioritized
Identify and address patient concerns proactively before they escalate into complaints
Coordinate with medical staff, administrative teams, and other departments to resolve patient issues efficiently
Create personalized care experiences by remembering patient preferences and maintaining detailed records of interactions
Complaint Resolution and Problem Solving
Handle patient complaints and concerns with sensitivity, working diligently to find satisfactory resolutions
