MEP Project Management Team Lead Position Type: Full-Time Location: Brooklyn Position Overview We are seeking an exceptional MEP Project Management Team Lead to lead our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination efforts across multiple high-profile construction projects. This pivotal leadership role demands a dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the strategic vision to oversee complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. As A team Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless coordination of all MEP systems. This position requires someone who can anticipate challenges before they arise, make critical decisions under pressure, and inspire Project coordinators to achieve excellence in every project phase. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Team Management Lead a team of MEP coordinators, and coordinate with engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Establish departmental goals, performance metrics, and quality standards that align with organizational objectives Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create professional development opportunities for team members Build and maintain a high-performing team capable of managing multiple concurrent projects in demanding timelines Champion best practices in MEP coordination and drive innovation in project delivery methodologies Project Coordination & Oversight Direct all aspects of MEP coordination construction projects Review and approve MEP design documents, shop drawings, and coordination models to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards Oversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive BIM/VDC coordination models using Revit, Navisworks, and other industry-standard platforms Join a growing engineering company managing the team, and ensuring smooth coordination across all projects.
