Accounting Relationship Manager | Five Towns, NY $100,000 $120,000 About the Role We're looking for a skilled, client-focused Accounting Relationship Manager to join our growing team. This role owns the client relationship end-to-end, accountable for the overall success of each engagement building trust, ensuring deliverables meet our standards, and using sound judgment to anticipate and address client needs. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Build and maintain trust with clients by serving as their primary point of contact Communicate proactively, timely, clearly, and professionally across all client touchpoints Execute seamless onboarding of new clients and identify opportunities to add value Take ownership of commitments, meet deadlines, and show initiative by addressing needs before they arise Deliverables & Financial Oversight Ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and high-quality Conduct financial reviews to validate the integrity of data, identify risks, and provide meaningful insights to support client decision-making Use thoughtful judgment to escalate or resolve issues, taking responsibility for complex matters Maintain visibility into AP workflows, identifying issues early and stepping in to resolve problems Team & Workflow Management Manage time and priorities effectively with consistency in reliability, punctuality, and follow-through Delegate effectively to offshore staff, ensuring instructions are clear and work is reviewed for accuracy Keep client work clearly organized and current in project management systems Monitor offshore capacity regularly to ensure optimal utilization and readiness for growth Foster collaboration across the team to support efficient, high-quality client service Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 3 5 years of accounting or client-facing financial services experience preferred Experience managing client accounts and overseeing AP or accounting workflows Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) Strong organizational and communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail Demonstrated ability to delegate, prioritize, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously Experience working with offshore or remote teams is a strong plus Experience in an outsourced accounting or advisory firm is highly desirable Interested?
